These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, online store, communications, and hardware products of Chimera Computing Corp. (“Chimera,” “we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing or using any Chimera website or purchasing Chimera hardware, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use Chimera websites or products.
1. Eligibility
To purchase Chimera hardware or use our website, you must:
be at least 18 years old, or
be legally authorized to enter into binding agreements.
Business purchasers must ensure that the individual placing the order has authority to bind the organization.
2. Use of the Website
You agree not to:
violate any applicable law or regulation
interfere with website functionality or security
engage in scraping, data mining, or unauthorized automated access
upload malicious code, attempt to break security, or disrupt operations
Use of Chimera hardware is separately governed by the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
3. Product Sales and Ownership
Chimera sells physical server hardware.
All product purchases are also subject to:

Warranty Policy
Shipping & Delivery Policy
Affirm Financing Policy (if applicable)
Ownership transfers only after full payment is received.
Before full payment, resale, transfer, or re-assignment is prohibited.
4. Payment Terms
All pricing is listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Payment must be made at checkout using accepted payment methods.
Purchases made using Affirm are subject to Affirm’s loan terms and credit evaluation.
Orders may be refused, canceled, or delayed if payment cannot be verified.
Refunds are governed exclusively by the Return & Refund Policy.
5. AI & Software Disclaimer (For Preloaded Models or Tools)
Some Chimera servers may include AI-related software or RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) tools.
To the extent any such tools are used:
5.1 No Accuracy Guarantee
AI outputs may contain inaccuracies, bias, fabricated content (“hallucinations”), or omissions.
Users must independently verify any critical output.
5.2 Permitted and Prohibited Uses
AI tools must not be used for:
unauthorized surveillance
biometric tracking
unlawful discrimination
violation of privacy or data-protection laws
generating harmful or deceptive content
Users are fully responsible for AI outputs they generate.
5.3 No Reliance for Critical Decisions
AI-generated content must not be used as the sole basis for:
medical decisions
legal conclusions
financial actions
safety-critical operations
Chimera is not liable for harm arising from reliance on AI-generated content.
5.4 Local and Cloud Interactions
If RAG or AI tools access user content:
Chimera does not permanently store customer data
Customers must not load confidential, proprietary, or regulated personal information
Users assume all risk associated with cloud-based interactions, if used
Chimera supports local-first usage; cloud usage is optional and at the customer’s discretion.
6. Intellectual Property
All website content, trademarks, product descriptions, documentation, and materials provided by Chimera remain the intellectual property of Chimera Computing Corp.
You may not:
reproduce, modify, distribute, or publicly display proprietary materials
reverse-engineer firmware, security mechanisms, or proprietary tooling
create derivative works without explicit written permission
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chimera is not liable for:
indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages
loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill
damage caused by misuse, unauthorized repair, or modification
reliance on AI-generated content
delays caused by carriers, customs, or supply-chain conditions
Chimera’s total liability under these Terms and any purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chimera from claims, damages, or losses arising out of:
misuse of hardware
violation of these Terms
unlawful operation of AI tools
unauthorized resale or redistribution
breach of data laws caused by user actions
9. Termination
Chimera may suspend or terminate access to its website, tools, or communications if:
you violate these Terms or the AUP
fraudulent activity is suspected
payment disputes or chargebacks remain unresolved
Termination does not affect your payment obligations or Chimera’s right to pursue remedies.
10. Governing Law & Arbitration
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
For business customers, any dispute arising from Chimera hardware purchases or website use will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS under the JAMS Commercial Arbitration Rules.

Enforcement: Federal Arbitration Act (FAA)
Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
11. Changes to These Terms
Chimera may update or modify these Terms at any time.
Updated Terms become effective upon posting with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of Chimera’s website or hardware constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
