Return and Refund Policy
CHIMERA COMPUTING CORP. — RETURN & REFUND POLICY

This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to all Chimera Computing Corp. (“Chimera,” “we,” “our”) server hardware purchased directly from Chimera or an authorized reseller.
1. REFUND ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Cancellations (Pre-Shipment)
Full Refund:
Orders canceled within 48 hours of purchase are eligible for a full refund if production has not started and the order has not shipped.
Restocking Fee:
If production has begun or the order is being prepared for shipment, a $200 restocking fee applies.
Chimera will issue an invoice for the fee.
Refunds are processed only after the fee is paid.
If the fee is not paid, the order becomes non-refundable.
Shipped Orders:
Once an order has shipped, the refund process is governed by this Policy and any applicable Affirm financing terms.
1.2 Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
Custom-configured hardware that has shipped or been used
Software, digital licenses, and downloadable products
Items marked “final sale” at checkout
1.3 Return Process
To initiate a return:
Request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).

Returns without an RMA will not be accepted.Packaging Requirements:
Ship the item in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation.
Units damaged due to inadequate packaging may be ineligible for refund.Return Shipping:
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a confirmed manufacturer defect.Refund Processing:
Refunds for approved returns are issued within 7–10 business days after Chimera receives and inspects the hardware.
2. AFFIRM FINANCING & REFUNDS
If a purchase was financed through Affirm:
Refunds typically take 3–10 business days to appear on the customer’s Affirm account.
Affirm determines the final refund timeline.
Customers must continue making scheduled Affirm payments until Affirm confirms the refund.
Late or missed payments may affect credit history; Chimera cannot adjust Affirm loan terms.
Store Credit:
If Chimera issues store credit rather than a cash refund:
The customer remains responsible for paying the Affirm loan in full.
Chimera cannot cancel or modify Affirm loans.
3. CHARGEBACKS & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
To ensure accurate resolution:
3.1 Customers should contact Chimera Support before filing a dispute with their bank or Affirm.
3.2 Chimera will provide documentation (shipment records, return status, communications) as required by the bank or payment processor.
3.3 Customers who file repeated or unjustified chargebacks may be restricted from:
future purchases
future use of Affirm financing
This section is intentionally minimal to avoid limiting any customer rights under applicable law.

5. POLICY MODIFICATIONS
Chimera may update this Policy at any time to reflect operational or legal requirements. Updates take effect when posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
