Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all visitors to the Chimera Computing Corp. (“Chimera,” “we,” “our”) website and all purchasers or users of Chimera servers. By accessing our website, purchasing hardware, or using Chimera products, you agree to comply with this AUP.

1. Prohibited Uses

1.1 Illegal or Unauthorized Activity

Users may not use Chimera hardware, software, or services to:

  • violate any applicable federal, state, or international law

  • engage in fraud, identity theft, or unauthorized access

  • store, distribute, or process illegal content

1.2 Security Violations

Users may not:

  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Chimera systems

  • deploy malware, ransomware, or unauthorized remote agents

  • attempt to circumvent access controls or authentication mechanisms

1.3 Interference With Service Operation

Users may not:

  • disrupt system performance or integrity

  • create excessive network traffic or harmful compute loads

  • attempt to degrade, overload, or impair website or backend infrastructure

1.4 Misuse of AI or Automated Tools

Users may not use AI workloads on Chimera hardware to:

  • generate or distribute targeted harassment

  • create deepfakes intended to mislead or defraud

  • produce harmful misinformation

  • automate activities that violate privacy laws or data-collection regulations

1.5 Intellectual Property Misuse

Users may not:

  • reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute proprietary firmware or software

  • remove or alter serial numbers, licensing controls, or product identifiers

  • bypass security designed to protect Chimera IP

1.6 Unauthorized Distribution or Resale

  • Resale before full payment and transfer of ownership is strictly prohibited.

  • After ownership transfer, resale is permitted but Chimera does not provide resale support, recertification, or warranty continuation unless explicitly arranged.

2. Data and Privacy Responsibilities

Users are responsible for ensuring that any data they store, process, or transfer using Chimera hardware complies with all applicable privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.

Chimera does not receive or control customer data processed on owned hardware.

3. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in:

  • refusal of future sales

  • cancellation of pending orders

  • legal action to protect Chimera’s rights or recover damages

Chimera may investigate any suspected violation at its sole discretion.

4. Modifications

Chimera Computing Corp. may modify this AUP at any time to reflect legal, security, or operational requirements. Updated versions will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the website or Chimera hardware constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
